Agrostil ("we," "us," "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and disclose information from farmers, lenders, and other users of our platform. We collect farm data (voice notes, photos, activity logs) to generate verified credit profiles. Your data is your asset — we process it with your explicit consent and in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

2.1 Farm Activity Data: - Voice notes and transcriptions (in local languages) - Farm and crop photos - Planting and harvesting activity logs - Geolocation and plot-size metadata - Yield and harvest volumes - Input usage records (fertilizer, seeds, etc.) 2.2 Personal Information: - Phone number - Name - Bank/cooperative affiliation - Device identifiers (for WhatsApp/USSD integration) 2.3 Derived Data: - Farm Credit Score and component scores - Behavioral pattern classifications - Crop health and yield predictions - Risk flags and anomaly detections

3.1 Primary Uses: - Generate your Farm Credit Score - Provide AI-powered farming advice via WhatsApp - Share credit data with partner lenders (with your permission) - Train and improve our AI models - Monitor system security and fraud prevention 3.2 Secondary Uses: - Aggregate, anonymized research on smallholder agriculture - Compliance reporting to regulators - Service improvement and analytics We do not sell raw farm data to third parties. Lenders access your credit score through our API, not your underlying activity data, unless you explicitly authorize it.

We retain your farm data for the duration of your active use of Agrostil, plus 7 years for regulatory compliance (pending CBN/SEC finalization). You can request deletion of your data at any time by contacting hello@agrostil.site. We will honor deletion requests within 30 days, except where data retention is required by law.

We implement industry-standard security measures: - Encryption of all data in transit (TLS 1.2+) and at rest (AES-256) - Secure multi-tenant architecture with data isolation per farmer - Role-based access controls for Agrostil staff and partners - Regular security audits and penetration testing - Compliance with AWS and cloud security best practices However, no system is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security and are not liable for unauthorized access due to factors beyond our reasonable control.

6.1 Consent: - By using Agrostil, you consent to the collection and processing of farm data as described. - We may request additional permissions for sensitive uses (e.g., sharing data with a lender). 6.2 Your Rights: - Right to access: You can request a copy of your farm data. - Right to rectify: You can correct inaccurate data. - Right to deletion: You can request deletion of your data. - Right to withdraw consent: You can opt out of specific data uses at any time. - Right to data portability: You can request your data in a standard format. 7.1 Lenders & Partners: We share your credit score (and optionally, underlying farm data) with lenders, insurers, and agribusinesses via API. This sharing only occurs with your explicit opt-in consent. 7.2 Cloud Infrastructure: We use AWS for data storage and processing. AWS is a Data Processor under our Data Processing Agreement. 7.3 AI Model Training: We use your anonymized activity data to train our AI models. Raw personal identifiers are removed before training. 7.4 Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law, court order, or regulatory authority (CBN, SEC, FIRS, etc.).

Agrostil is designed for adult farmers, lenders, and investors. We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under 18. If we become aware of such collection, we will delete the data immediately.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will notify you of material changes by email or prominent notice on our platform. Your continued use of Agrostil after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
